What We've Been Up To

WRA Industrial Coatings

The Brief

WRA Industrial Coatings are specialists in wet paint spraying and have built up a well established business over the last 20 years. WRA came to Want needing an online presence as they had none. We was more than happy to rectify this while suggesting it was a perfect opportunity for a rebrand.

Our Solution

To create a big splash within the market place while clearly standing out from competitors. Playing with the idea of making a big splash, the idea was born. Large paint splashes created a modern playful twist while communicating the service WRA provide. Red and black was used to link the new brand back to the 20 year heritage of WRA while incorporating an arrow to denote movement and progression for WRA.

Carl Adams Driving School

The Brief

Carl Adams Driving School is a fully certified driving school located in Leeds offering on driving tuition as well as offering pass plus and refresher courses. They came to us with the task of creating an leaflet and an A3 poster to help advertise the business and it’s promotions. We suggested creating a new brand identity as the current one was very genetic to a typical driving school and did not portray the quality of their services.

Our Solution

The logo was our first port of call, we steered clear of using the generic L plate that so many driving schools use today as we believe standing out rather than blending in is key within a crowded market place. By creating a graphic device that resembles a road by utilising the letter A from the name allows the potential customer to associate it to driving upon viewing it for the very first time.
The graphic device was then used throughout the poster and doubled sided flyer design creating brand recognition.

Raise

The Brief

Raise works with young carers, socially disadvantaged children and deals with mental health issues across West Yorkshire. They approached us with a very short deadline and a brief to design and print a single A4 folder with a custom caricature on the front that must resemble a teenage schoolboy crossed with a superhero.

Our Solution

We created a number of illustration options for the client to choose from. Once they had chosen the final illustration style the caricature was then created in full detail, digitalised and rendered.

Roots Hair & Make Up

The Brief

As an already established hair salon of 12 years that has built up a vast portfolio of satisfied customers, Roots Hair Salon approached us with the aim to expanding into a new market area of make up styling and increase sales in the existing hair salon.

Our Solution

Our solution was to create a new brand identity that encapsulated both areas of the business while suggesting elegance and style throughout all marketing. Roots had little to no online presence with a website that consisted of a single page price list that was un-engaging and did not portray 12 years of being in business. Our suggestion was a new website with multiple pages detailing each area and services that Roots provide as well as portfolios of stylists work. In a very much crowed industry, increasing their visibility on search engine rankings was a must with the use of SEO.
We also identified that Roots was not capitalising footfall traffic outside the salon. The solution was to create window displays that visually create interest and showcase the services and prices to passing potential customers. Business cards that doubled up as appointment cards was a cost effective solution that allowed customers to keep their appointment and salon details to hand. To keep print costs down each card can be used multiple times.

Safe Environment

The Brief

Safe Environment came to us with the task of rebranding the business to bring the design to a more up to date style, giving it a clean and fresh feel. A full range of stationery was to be designed and printed. Safe Environment returned to us with a brief of a 16 page brochure, pull up & PVC banners and multiple posters for an exhibiton. The timescale for the exhibition requirements from start to finish was an extremely short time frame of 1 week.

Our Solution

The logo was asked to have remnants of the old design and we was more than happy to accommodate for this. The logo now feels crisp and has the desired up to date styling. We continued the branding on throughout the design and layout of all of the other required designs.
To keep consistancy we followed the brand style that we previously created throughout the new exhibition requirements. As we are passionate about branding and brand consistancy we believe these are key factors in portraying Safe Environment as a professional and high quality service provider. Want Creative is proud to announce that we completed the job ahead of the given time.

Drive Automatic

The Brief

Drive came to us in need of a stronger online presence, a more dynamic brand and a goal of increasing sales.

Our Solution

We identified that adding an easy to use booking/enquiry form and revising the website navigation would make the overall user experience much smoother and create more definite calls to action. We also developed a uniform brand that worked across all media and delivered more consistency. The final element we looked at was adding SEO terms throughout their website to give Drive heightened visibility on the web and make it much easier for potential customers to find them.
Over the course of the project we delivered a rebranded website and new logo, created business/appointment cards, and even a new car roof sign for their learner vehicles.

The Outcome

Website enquiries jumped by 70% which led to increased conversion and new customers thanks to the increased visual impact and sitting high on the search engine rankings. The attention grabbing design featured on the car roof sign also meant offline enquiries increased. Looking closely at each area of the brief allowed us to produce a tailored approach that delivered against Drive’s key goal of increasing sales.

Time Communications

The Brief

A fresh approach and a revitalised brand was the requirement from Time Communications. As a leading telecoms company they needed an identity that would make them stand out in the marketplace. They wanted something outstanding and creative that placed them well ahead of their competitors.

Our Solution

We knew straight away that the website had to be responsive, working optimally whether viewed on a laptop, tablet or mobile, and that a clean, bright design utilising colour would be a real jump forward from the previous text heavy website. This reenergised look would be carried across all their marketing literature and stationery to create a uniform and easily identifiable brand.
In addition to the new brand identity and logo, we created new business cards, letterheads and compliment slips. Plus we also looked at their SEO, honing it to increase their visibility in the rankings.

Trust Home Improvements

The Brief

Trust approached Want after a bad experience with another agency, which left them with no website and therefore no online presence. This was seriously damaging their sales figures and reputation as with no website to examine the products potential customers queried the quality and standing of the company. They needed a website that worked around current branding, included an enquiry or quote form, and provided detail product information pages.

Our Solution

Navigation was key to the success of Trust’s website, with so much information we needed to make sure the customer moved through the site with ease and was able to locate all the information they needed in as few clicks as possible. Product images also needed to be a major focus so customers had a clear idea of what they were purchasing. We also felt a testimonial page would address the issue of reputation. We also included SEO as standard to make sure once the website was up, it was visible and would immediately start rivalling competitor sites on the rankings.
We delivered the entire project in two weeks, allowing Trust to get back online as quickly as possible.

The Outcome

Such a strong and comprehensive website not only increased enquiries and customer conversions, it also improved the company’s brand reputation which had suffered during the time they were offline. Our quick turnaround meant they were able to recapture lost ground with a website that really showcased their products.
